On the occasion of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction,Cifal Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), and Majmaah University, organized a virtual UN scientific session entitled “From Words to Action: National Disaster Risk Assessment.”
The session brought together distinguished national and international experts, including senior UN officials, and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s transition toward proactive risk management approaches aligned with Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
