The signing of a cooperation agreement between Majmaah University represented by CIFAL Saudi Arabia and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) took place on June 27, 2022, in Geneva. The event was attended by Almajmaah University President, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil, UNITAR’s Executive Director and United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, Mr. Nikhil Seth, the University’s Vice President for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, and the Director of CIFAL Saudi Arabia, Dr. Aiman Al-Barakati.
This agreement marks the first of its kind between a Saudi university and UNITAR, highlighting Majmaah University’s leadership in fostering international partnerships and advancing sustainable development through training and capacity-building.
The collaboration represents a significant step towards delivering specialized training programs that promote innovation, development, and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
