
Under the patronage of Prof. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dossary, Vice Rector for Development and Investment, and in the presence of Mr. Abdulwahab bin Mohammed Al-Shahri, Assistant Secretary-General for Corporate Communication at the Muslim World League, CIFAL Saudi Arabia concluded the specialized training programme “Expert in Applications of SDGs 2030 ", delivered in partnership with the Muslim World League. This programme was implemented as part of CIFAL Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance the practical understanding of sustainable development concepts and to strengthen participants’ capacity to align development initiatives with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The programme was conducted over five days and featured a range of thematic modules supporting key development enablers. It focused on the concepts of development and sustainable development and their interlinkages, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2030) and their expected impact, as well as mechanisms for aligning these goals with Saudi Vision 2030.
The programme also included an overview of the Kingdom’s key achievements in sustainable development, alongside methodologies for sustainability reporting and impact measurement. Participants were further trained on developing impact assessment reports in line with international best practices.
This programme reflects CIFAL Saudi Arabia’s role as a specialized platform for capacity building and the promotion of sustainable development awareness. Through delivering high-quality programmes and establishing strategic partnerships at both national and international levels, CIFAL Saudi Arabia continues to empower leaders and national cadres to translate development goals and visions into actionable initiatives with sustainable impact, while supporting national development .
