Under the patronage of the Vice Rector of Majmaah University for Development and Investment, Prof. Mussallam bin Mohammed Al-Dossary, CIFAL Saudi Arabia concluded the training programme “Expert in Applications of SDGs 2030 " targeting a number of individuals and institutions in the Al-Qassim Region. The programme was delivered as part of CIFAL Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacities of community stakeholders and enable them to adopt advanced development practices aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The five-day programme addressed a range of scientific and professional themes related to development enablers. Key modules included the concepts of development and sustainability, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 and their linkage to Saudi Vision 2030, in addition to showcasing national achievements in this field. The programme also shed light on sustainability reporting—covering its concepts, impact, and the mechanisms for developing impact measurement reports—in ways that enhance the quality and effectiveness of development practices.
The programme contributed to equipping participants with practical knowledge and applied tools, enabling them to design and analyse initiatives and align them with the SDGs. It also qualified them to operationalize SDG frameworks within development programmes and projects. The implementation of this programme reflects CIFAL Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to promoting a culture of sustainability, empowering public, private, and non-profit entities to achieve their development objectives, and contributing to building a more sustainable future.
